The "K" Family already had a partially finished basement and wanted to be sure that the basement would stay dry and could withstand water if ever there was some. The "K" Family decided to install an entire perimeter system and a sump pump to be sure any and all water is being drawn out of the basement. For finishing touches, they decided to go with our EverLast Finished Wall Restoration System. Our wall system uses only mold-resistant materials- with no vulnerable organic material. The wall panels and trim are not prone to damage like drywall, wood, moldings, fabrics, wood-based flooring, and wood framing. In fact, a basement refinished with the EverLast Panels can temporarily flood from a plumbing leak, inches deep, and it is highly unlikely that walls or trim will need to be replaced! For flooring, the "K" family decided to use our ThermalDry Basement Floor System, this flooring is also made with all inorganic material and will not support mold growth or get ruined during a surprise plumbing leak or ground water in heavy rain.
A customer in Delanson called, with concerns of bowing and crumbling basement walls. Our team went in with PowerBrace support as a long-term solution.
A few months ago we installed Everlast Basement Windows in this Delanson home, and recently installed CleanSpace for extra protection from moisture!
Waterproofing a crawlspace in Catskill, NY!
WaterGuard is a product that works behind the scenes so its place in the waterproofing system doesn’t often get highlighted, but this pair of before and after photos takes a close look at how it fits in to the basement. WaterGuard is installed where the floor meets the wall then covered with a new layer of concrete. Its purpose is to collect moisture that’s seeping into the basement and redirecting it to the sump pump where it can be sent out and away from the home. If you’re in need of a product to help facilitate water out of your basement, WaterGuard is here for you!
