This homeowner was having difficulty with their basement’s humidity. There are many fixes and improvements that can be done to alleviate this issue; the products that our Design Specialist determined best for this job in particular were a SaniDry Sedona and an EverLast window. Focusing on the EverLast window, this product is a perfect upgrade, providing great insulation to keep water out and heat in—all while being maintenance-free, so no sanding, reglazing, or repainting is needed. The installation process for this job involved taking careful measurements of the opening because each window is custom-made for the specific spot. Once that is complete and the window has arrived, our installation team carefully removed the old, rotting window and cleaned up any leftover debris. Then, the new EverLast is put in and sealed up perfectly to not allow anything in or out! Humidity is now a thing of the past with the help of an EverLast window!
This lake-front cabin had an addition which was sinking! Our EZPost products helped stabilize the floor and prevent further damage.
The great thing about our sump pumps is they can be installed right where the old one was. If you have a pre-existing sump pump, our top-of-the-line systems can fit right where they were and provide an instant improvement to your waterproofing system. The TripleSafe, with its backup battery, WaterWatch alarm, and tri-pump system, is more than capable of handling the worst flooding.
Homeowners in Summit, NY had a damp crawlspace and were looking for a solution to create a clean and dry environment beneath their house. After the homeowners called Adirondack Basement Systems to set up their free estimate, Design Specialist Jon Roz came to inspect their crawlspace and recommended the perfect products. Foreman Austin and his crew installed CleanSpace vapor barrier to cover the dirt floors and blocked foundation to prevent moisture from accumulating. A SmartDrain was also installed so that if there are any future plumbing leaks, homeowners will be alerted and can get the issue fixed rather than not knowing due to water previously soaking into the dirt floor. Lastly, they chose to have one of our patented SaniDry Sedonas installed to keep the air dry and free of mold and mildew.
Homeowners in Albany had a basement that was outdated, dark and gloomy looking. To their dismay there was mold starting to grow on the wood paneling making the space unhealthy and difficult to store belongings in. They were looking to lighten and clean up the space properly so that there would be no more issues with mold and so they contacted Adirondack Basement Systems to find the correct solution. With some cleanspace on the walls and ThermalDry tile flooring, the basement was looking as good as new. Both products made from inorganic materials would prevent any further damage with moisture and mold! The space is now completely usable for worry-free storage.
