Sump pumps make a world of a difference to a basement’s waterproofing system. If your pump can’t handle the water coming in, then it’s only going to get backed up, fail, and cause immense damage to your home. Thankfully, here at Adirondack Basement Systems, we have a number of different pumps to suit your needs based on size, power, and cost! Pictured here is our SinglePack sump pump. Having this basement go from an old, useless sump pit to our SinglePack is a tremendous boost, making pooling water a thing of the past!
If your basement is in need of a significant boost to its health and look, our wall systems and flooring options are a perfect solution. Seen here is BrightWall, which is an excellent vapor barrier that also provides a clean style. Flooring was also installed in this basement to help with moisture control and make it a more livable space. These two products are also compatible with any type of basement finishing products you may want to install in your home. They act as a great base layer to build off of.
The CleanSpace liner is used to isolate the home from the earth and block water and dampness from coming through completely and permanently. This dramatically reduces the humidity level in the air and eliminates mold growth. The CleanSpace liner is carefully cut and installed by trained installers and is completely sealed over the walls to fully isolate moisture or dampness from coming through the concrete basement walls. The result is an attractive, bright, tough impervious liner - and a healthy home above it!
This Albany Basement was waterproofed using a SandiDry Sedona, WaterGuard XL, WaterGuard Ports, TripleSafe SumpPump, full height CleanSpace Wall Systems, an Aspen Air System, and more!
Here’s a fairly unique example of a basement window upgrade we did. Typically, windows are replaced with ones of the same time. This homeowner, however, wanted to open things up a bit and let more natural light into the basement, getting the result you see with the larger EverLast window. The EverLast window they had installed is energy-efficient and great at protecting the house from incoming water, bugs, or other animals. If your basement windows are in need of a makeover, try EverLast!
