Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Sleek CleanSpace Installation in Middle Grove, NY
This photo album takes a look at a large waterproofing job, focusing primarily on the CleanSpace installation. This basement had a bunch of cracks scattered throughout, which can be seen in the first few pictures in the series, caused by a combination of water damage and foundational issues. Before putting in the CleanSpace, we filled in the cracks and made sure the potential problems with the foundation were addressed, minimized, and taken care of. Afterwards, it was time for the CleanSpace. CleanSpace can be placed on the walls and floor, but for a basement, it’s typically just along the walls since people will be walking through the area as opposed to a crawl space where it is much more beneficial to lay it out on both surfaces. CleanSpace acts as a highly efficient vapor barrier to keep any intruding moisture from getting into the basement and causing problems for the homeowner. Then, we installed a TripleSafe sump system to handle any high levels of invading water, using it’s great power to capture the water and redirect it out and far away from the home, keeping the basement dry and protected. The TripleSafe can be seen in one of the pictures in the corner of the basement, out of the way but easily accessible for any servicing. These two products paired with the numerous others gives this homeowner a fantastically protected basement in much better shape than it was before.
