Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Sleek Waterproofing System in Bolton Landing, NY

Here’s a series of photos from a waterproofing job we did, highlighting a number of the products used and the beautiful transformation this basement went through. While this job was primarily waterproofing, some foundation support was provided by the SmartJacks that you can see in the pictures—they’re the silver posts going from floor to ceiling, giving the sagging floor above a boost. The first thing you probably notice is the CleanSpace all along the walls and floor. CleanSpace is a great vapor barrier that not only looks sleek but does a fantastic job at keeping invading moisture at bay. This product was paired with drainage matting, which are the brownish pads on the floor. that are covered by the CleanSpace. Drainage matting helps keep any water that may have gotten into the basement from pooling. It redirects it towards the sump pump, which is a TripleSafe in this home’s case, where it is sent out to a distance away where it won’t come back. The TripleSafe is featured in picture five; it’s situated near the corner and isn’t too big, so it is not intrusive by any means. All these products combine to make a fresh, effective waterproofing system for this basement, giving moisture no opportunities to cause damage!
