Photo Album: Crawlspace Moisture Protection in North Creek, NY
Crawlspaces can be a lot of work for a space you don’t typically enter. It’s a vital area of your house that requires proper attention in order to improve the quality of the rest of your home. Moisture and humidity in the crawlspace often lead to serious problems above, so it’s important to stay ahead of the game. This homeowner had concerns primarily about waterproofing and humidity control and we had several products that could lend a helping hand. The most noticeable addition we made to this crawlspace is the Clean Space lining, which acts as a moisture barrier. In addition to his, a SaniDry Sedona—a powerful, compact dehumidifier—was installed to really keep the humidity to a minimum. Finally, to keep any water coming into the Crawlspace away from the house, a sump pump equipped with all the proper enhancements to keep it running at maximum efficiency and protect it from the elements was brought in to round out this waterproofing system and keep this crawlspace healthy and dry.
