Impact Convention 2017 Raises $40,000 in 10 Minutes for SoldierStrong Fundraiser

Impact was the theme of this year's annual convention for our Dealer Network. Basement Systems Inc. hosted Former U.S. Navy SEALs Commander Rorke Denver as a guest speaker who is part of the nonprofit organization, SoldierStrong. Commander Denver spoke about his experiences running the training for the U.S. Navy SEALs, the impact it had on himself and leadership in general. He has run every phase of training for the U.S.Navy SEALs and led special-forces missions in the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. In 2006, Denver was the officer in charge of BRAVO Platoon of SEAL Team THREE in Iraq’s Al Anbar Province in one of the most combat-heavy deployments of any regular SEAL team since Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star with “V” for valorous action in combat.

SoldierStrong's mission is to provide our patriots with the resources and support they need to overcome obstacles new and old. In its early founded years the nonprofit provided goods to our soldiers overseas, increasing its awareness through word of mouth and partnerships with other civic organizations. Through the journey of its inception, they have been able to shift their focus to helping these soldiers thrive at home through scholarships and rehabilitation resources.

As a way to come together and impact those who have fought for our freedom and rights, Basement Systems Inc. held a live 10-minute fundraiser for our whole network to participate in. By the 10 minute mark, our Dealers and their teams together raised $40,000, double the goal! An amazing effort from everyone.
