Adirondack Basement Systems Helping Feed The Community
Hunger is not isolated to one event, one day or season. Hunger does not discriminate by race, faith or age; it exists throughout our community. Someone you know may be hungry; your coworker, your child’s classmate, your elderly parents.
The Northeast Regional Foodbank provides meals to 23 counties. From Plattsburgh to Newburgh, in urban, rural, and suburban communities, the Food Bank provides over 30 million pounds of food a year to 1,000 agencies.
We are starting our collection on November 1st and will finish up on December 9th. Our goal this year is to collect over 500 pounds of food to donate. Our System Design Specialists will be picking up donations along their travels, our foreman will also pick up donations from each project, as well as, our employee’s bringing in as much food as that can! This is an exciting fundraiser for us all at Adirondack Basement Systems because once we reach 500 pounds Kevin has promised all 30 of us a surprise!
