New Basement Walls in Schenectady, NY

Challenge

Homeowners in Schenectady, NY run a daycare and were looking to remodel the basement for extra space. The area was damp and musty so they knew it was in need of a new waterproofing system. They also wanted to install a new wall system to insulate the basement and provide a clean space for the children to play. After doing some online research they found that Adirondack Basement Systems provided all the solutions that they were looking for. They contacted us for a free estimate and we sent one of our certified basement specialists to do a thorough inspection.

Solution

A SuperSump and WaterGuard perimeter drainage system were installed to keep the space dry. A SaniDry XP was installed to control the humidity and musty smell produced by any mold. On the walls we first installed Basement to Beautiful insulated panels. These panels are infused with graphite particles to insulate the foundation walls and have built-in electrical outlets and chases. Over the top of these panels we installed EverLast panels to create that clean finished look. These panels are waterproof and mold-resistant- especially ideal for a play space with children.
